Vivek Chandra and Geoff Widmer form the core PRE experienced team. Their extensive 50+ years’ experience in the business, extensive local and global contract enhanced with active membership in the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) provides a niche Petroleum Resolution Envoy service to assist clients in the resolution of their commercial and technical disputes in upstream energy matters.

Vivek Chandra is the Principal of Kerogen Consultants, a boutique gas and energy advisory firm based in Melbourne, Australia. His extensive international oil and gas experience includes roles as senior executive with large and small E&P companies, government body, and an international service company. He has worked in Australia, Middle East, United States and SE Asia. He is a recognized natural gas& LNG expert, and lectures widely on gas matters and hosts regular industry seminars.

Vivek Chandra is also the CEO and Founder of Texas LNG.

Vivek is a Fellow at the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb).

He has degrees from the Colorado School of Mines, University of Pennsylvania, the French Petroleum Institute, and Deakin University - and is a currently a PhD. candidate in International Law. He is a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Association of International Petroleum Negotiators, Chairman of the Melbourne Petroleum Club, and  a Fellow at the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Vivek is also the author of Fundamentals of Natural Gas, a bestselling hardcover book published by Pennwell, publishers of Oil and Gas Journal and other leading industry books and manuals. He runs regular executive training courses on natural gas commercialisation.  He is also creator of GasUnits, an iPhone/iPad & Android app for conversion of natural gas units and hosts regular industry seminars and LNGProjects, an iPhone/iPad app that gives details of over 85 global LNG projects.

Geoffrey R Widmer is the Principal in Palliser Group with qualifications of a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Monash University) and an MBA (Queen’s University, Canada).  He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Governance Institute of Australia (Graduate Diploma Advanced Corporate Governance).  He is a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.

Geoff has considerable Australian and international senior executive commercial and board experience in the energy sector covering asset commercialisation in upstream and downstream sectors, commercial operations in the major Australian sedimentary basins, international fiscal regimes in Asia, Americas and South America, and M&A.

He has extensive experience as a director and company secretary of both Public and ASX listed companies and in the tertiary education sector. He is currently a non-executive director of AMOG Holdings Pty Ltd, a global engineering company specialising in offshore energy production systems.
